The CFO/COO delivers measurable, cost-effective results that contribute to SDT’s mission, vision, values and long-term strategic plan. The CFO/COO works closely with department leaders to support the advancement of departmental goals, facilitate collaboration, foster staff-development, and maintain open communication. General Responsibilities Include (Detailed Job Description Available on Website): * In support of the CEO, the CFO/COO provides direction and oversight for the Accounting, Food and Beverage, Engineering, Production, Operations and Ticketing Departments. * Works closely with department leaders to support the advancement of departmental goals, facilitate collaboration, foster staff-development, oversees operational policies, initiatives and strategic goals, and will build and manage effective operational systems. * Provides financial leadership for the organization and will build and manage effective financial systems to provide critical financial information to senior management and the Board. * As a member of the senior management team, will participate in planning, decision making and implementation of organizational initiatives and strategies supporting the overall mission, goals and objectives of SDTI. * In the absence of the President & CEO, the CFO/COO serves as the senior officer of the organization by providing guidance to staff and responds to the general public, Stakeholder and Board of Director inquiries as needed.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university in accounting, finance, business administration, facility operations management, or related area; and seven (7) years of increasingly responsible accounting/finance and general management positions; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
